Instructor Bio

Alethia Alvarezâ's journey with dance is one of resilience, rediscovery, and community. Encouraged by her NYC mentors, Alethia began teaching in 2010, first in Los Angeles and later in Santa Barbara, where she built her first performance team and cultivated a vibrant, connected dance community. Eventually settling in California's Central Valley, she carried that same energy forward, spending the past eight years teaching, choreographing, producing events, and fostering a thriving local scene.
